It’s time to visit the capital city of Chile, Santiago.
You’ll spend 2 nights staying at Cumbres Lastarria, located in the central neighbourhood of Lastarria, which is packed with excellent restaurants and interesting boutiques and a fair amount of street art. During your time in Santiago, you’ll have the opportunity to really get to know the city and its history with a privately guided tour, getting to know the city and the Chilean way of life.
During your second full day in the city, you’ll be taken a couple of hours’ outside the city to Valparaiso. This beautiful, bohemian hillside port city is known for its winding streets, steep funiculars, and colourful, clifftop homes. Each corner of ValparaÃso is filled with history and stories, you’ll discover something new at every turn. You’ll be exploring its architecture and visiting many of its hidden attractions. Stroll along its narrow colourful streets, climb its endless staircases, ride its historic funicular, and enjoy panoramic views from its many lookout points. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant that is highly praised by food critics in Chile.
Today you’ll take a 3.5 hour flight to Punta Arenas, in southern Chile. For the next 4 days you’ll be exploring Chile’s most renowned attraction, Torres del Paine National Park, at arguably one of the best properties in this part of the country.
The setting of Explora Torres del Paine is second-to-none, with breathtaking views and conveniently near the start of the ‘Base of the Towers’ trek. Activities include a number of hikes for all levels through forests, glaciers and mountains, van-led explorations, horse riding, self-guided bike or hiking trails, wildlife tours as well as challenging high mountain ascents. There’s something for everyone and your time here will most likely be one of the highlights of your trip!
Today you will travel by land into Argentina, crossing the border at this remote but beautiful part of the world.
El Calafate is home to the famous Perito Moreno glacier as well as the stark and vast landscapes that Patagonia offers. You’ll spend 2 nights at Los Ponchos Boutique Hotel, outside the town centre, and you’ll have a full day tour to see the famous glacier itself including a fantastic boat trip.
Time to visit one of Latin America’s most vibrant and bustling cities. You’ll arrive in Buenos Aires and be picked up from the airport to be taken to your fabulous boutique hotel, the Nuss.
Situated in trendy Palermo Soho, you’re walking distance from numerous top restaurants, cafés and boutiques. You’ll spend your days here exploring the city with a private city tour including a visit to the renowned Recoleta Cemetery where Evita is buried. We couldn’t suggest a trip to Buenos Aires without a top quality tango experience at Rojo Tango, which includes a three course dinner and plenty of Malbec! You’re guaranteed to be wowed!
Today you’ll be travelling to the magnificent Iguazu Falls. Your hotel is located within the national park, so you have fantastic views from the property itself and direct out-of-hours access to the walkways of the falls on the Brazilian side! This means it is very easy for you to have the afternoon and evening at leisure to explore the Brazilian side of the falls independently.
The following day, you’ll have a walking tour of the Argentine side of the falls. A catwalk rising 1100 metres high from the Iguazu River will lead us to a magnificent view of the largest and most striking waterfall in the region. For those who like adventure, the Gran Aventura boat tour is not to be missed! Whirlpool waves and currents provoked by the Falls add adrenaline and lots of emotion to this thrilling tour. This will be a journey of pure excitement and fun, embraced by the fabulous scenery of the cliffs formed by waterfalls.
Your first full day will include a private tour to see all of Rio’s top highlights. You’ll start the day by paying a visit to the colourful Brazilian food markets, followed by one of the world’s most famous tourist attractions in the world – the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
From the top, you can admire the fantastic blend of gorgeous beaches being washed by deep blue waters, high mountains that surround the landscape, thick forests, and urban areas. After Corcovado, you cannot miss a visit to Santa Teresa, a unique part of Rio located on the hills with its old houses and narrow streets. It is a place where you can feel the atmosphere of art, music and history. Then, we will have a panoramic tour of the Lapa area as well as the famous Celeron stairs. Our day ends by visiting one of the most popular tourist attractions in Rio – the Sugarloaf.
Your remaining days in Rio are at leisure, in case you simply fancy relaxing on Rio’s beaches and exploring at your own pace. However, we offer a number of exciting tours related to the culinary scene, hiking, water sports, samba classes and more – so depending on what you’re looking for we can easily suggest some exciting activities.
