Into the Wild: An Immersive Journey Through Rwanda
Rwanda may be small, but its forests and savannahs reveal an extraordinary variety of wildlife. Start this 10 day trip in Kigali, taking time to understand its recent history before heading into the ancient forests of Nyungwe National Park, where a treetop canopy walk and chimpanzee trekking bring you close to the wildlife. Journey north through Rwanda’s interior to Volcanoes National Park, with golden monkeys, gorilla conservation and a mountain gorilla trek among the highlights. Then turn your attention to Akagera, where day and night drives, walking and boat safaris reveal a very different side of the country, from lion and leopard to elephant and an abundance of birdlife.
