Tanzania’s Beautiful South 8 days
8 days
Tanzania Into the Wild South
Southern Tanzania offers a different pace of safari, with wild landscapes, waterways and fewer traditional safari routes to explore. In Nyerere National Park, formerly Selous Game Reserve, follow the Rufiji River by boat, head out on foot or by vehicle, and spend a night fly camping beneath the stars. Then fly deeper into the south to Ruaha, where the scenery provides the setting for breathtaking predator sightings, from large prides of lion to leopard and wild dog. A sunrise balloon safari offers a new perspective before a night drive in search of more elusive wildlife, including serval and caracal.
