Begin beside Switzerland’s Lake Lucerne, exploring its historic city and surrounding mountains before travelling deeper into the Alps to Andermatt and St Moritz. Journey route
DAYS 1-4
Lucerne
Arrive in Switzerland and transfer to your hotel near Lake Lucerne. Explore Lucerne by boat and funicular before discovering its medieval Old Town, Chapel Bridge and historic landmarks with a private guide. Enjoy the surrounding Alps through hiking, biking and lake activities.
DAYS 5-8
St Moritz
Continue to Andermatt and settle into your hotel in the Swiss Alps. Visit a local cheese factory for a private tasting and hands-on cheese-making experience before a guided herbal hike. Board the Glacier Express to St Moritz, crossing dramatic alpine scenery and the Landwasser Viaduct, then explore the town and surrounding Upper Engadin on foot.
DAYS 9-10
Venice
Continue by Bernina Express to Tirano before travelling into northern Italy and on to Venice. Transfer to your hotel by private water taxi before boarding the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for your overnight journey to Paris.
DAYS 11-12
Paris
Arrive in Paris and transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city, before a final transfer to the airport for your flight home.
