Scotland: Castles, Coastlines & Country Estates 10 days
10 days
Historic Edinburgh to the wild Highlands
Scotland unfolds through a journey from Edinburgh’s historic streets into the wilder landscapes of the Highlands and far north. This 10 day journey begins in the capital, discovering quieter neighbourhoods and familiar Outlander locations before heading into the countryside. Stirling and the Cairngorms mark the transition, with castles, mountain trails and rugged scenery offering a taste of the landscapes ahead. Further north, Sutherland feels more remote, with days shaped by walking, conservation and time outdoors, from e-biking and paddleboarding to foraging beneath wide skies. Return south by train to Edinburgh, where there is time for one final evening in the capital before your journey comes to an end.
