Amalfi
The Amalfi Coast is one of the few places in Italy that lives up to the hype. Pastel towns cling to cliffs above a sea that really is that blue, backed by pine forests and mountains that drop straight into the water. Days here move slowly: long lunches over the water, limoncello beneath striped parasols, and coastal walks between Positano, Amalfi and Ravello with a new view around every bend.
