The Wild Heart of Zimbabwe: Safari & Victoria Falls
Zimbabwe brings together some of southern Africa’s most distinctive safari experiences, from walking through the floodplains of Mana Pools to watching wildlife gather at Hwange’s waterholes. In Mana Pools, follow elephant and buffalo on foot with a guide, then take to the Zambezi by canoe, drifting alongside hippo and elephant. Further south, Hwange’s mix of teak woodland and open grassland provides a different setting, with game drives by day and the chance to watch predators at a floodlit waterhole after dark. The journey ends at Victoria Falls, where trails, river cruises and adventures from rafting to helicopter flights offer plenty of ways to experience the falls.
