Nicaragua - From Colonial Streets to Pacific Shores
Nicaragua brings together colonial history, volcanic landscapes and Pacific shores in an 8 day journey that moves from the country’s interior to its islands and coast. In Granada, explore the cobbled streets and colonial architecture before heading into the hills around Mombacho Volcano, with a swim in the mineral-rich waters of Apoyo Lagoon afterwards. Cross Lake Nicaragua to Ometepe Island, where jungle trails lead to San Ramón Waterfall and kayaking on the Istiam River brings you close to herons, turtles and monkeys. The final few days are all about slowing down, with surfing, yoga, spa treatments and time on the beach at a private Pacific retreat.
