Classic Ecuador 16 days
16 days
Ecuador - Quito, Amazon and the Galápagos
This 16 day journey brings together three very different sides of Ecuador, from Quito’s colonial heart to the Amazon rainforest and the high Andes. After time exploring the capital, travel by river deep into the rainforest, where four nights on a private reserve bring guided canoe trips, canopy walks and night excursions in search of monkeys, caimans and nocturnal wildlife. Continue to Santa Cruz in the Galápagos, exploring volcanic landscapes, beaches and nearby islands by private yacht, with time to snorkel and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Back in the Andes, cross the equator before ending on a historic working farm with horses, hiking, conservation and traditional crafts.
