Itinerary
Bhutan: Sacred Valleys & Mountain Trails 16 days
16 days
Bhutan
Over 16 days, journey deeper into Bhutan, moving between mountain valleys, ancient monasteries and quiet rural communities at an unhurried pace. From Paro and Thimphu, travel across high passes to Punakha, following trails through the countryside and spending time around the river. Gangtey brings a gentler rhythm, with local traditions, mountain walks and the chance to see black-necked cranes in season. Further east, the Bumthang Valley feels more remote still, with ancient temples and monasteries scattered among its landscapes. Return to Paro for time in the valley and at Chele La Pass before ending with the hike to Tiger’s Nest, high above the valley floor.
