Koh Yao Noi

Koh Yao Noi sits in Phang Nga Bay between Phuket and Krabi, and deliberately keeps a lower profile than either. There is no real nightlife here, and that is rather the point: fishing villages, rubber plantations and quiet beaches make it a genuinely laid-back island, best explored by bicycle along roads with almost no traffic. Snorkelling and swimming off the eastern beaches are excellent, and the limestone karsts of the bay are visible from almost everywhere on the island.
