Koh Samui
Koh Samui offers more variety than its reputation as a beach resort island suggests. Beyond the coastline, the interior is thick jungle, crisscrossed with trekking trails that lead to waterfalls few visitors bother to find, while the coast itself has everything from the lively Fisherman’s Village market to quiet coves suited to diving and snorkelling. It works well as a standalone beach stay or as the final relaxed stretch of a longer Thailand itinerary.
