Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur’s skyline is defined by the Petronas Towers, twin structures once briefly the tallest buildings in the world and still the city’s most recognisable landmark. Bukit Bintang is where much of the city’s energy is concentrated, its streets packed with shopping malls, hawker stalls and rooftop bars running well into the night. Beneath the modern surface, older quarters such as Chinatown and Little India still operate at their own, more traditional pace, well worth the detour.
