Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve
Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is a private, strictly limited-access conservancy in south-eastern Zimbabwe, run with some of the most rigorous conservation standards in the country. Black rhino, reintroduced and closely protected here, are a particular draw, alongside significant populations of African wild dog. Only two lodges operate inside the reserve, keeping vehicle numbers genuinely low, and a share of proceeds funds community and conservation programmes in the surrounding area. It rewards travellers who value exclusivity as much as wildlife.
