Lower Zambezi National Park
The Lower Zambezi National Park might just be our favourite park in Africa, and it is not a difficult case to make. The flight in from Lusaka takes barely thirty minutes, dropping down over the Zambezi Escarpment before levelling out along the river below Lake Kariba, with Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools visible across the water on the far bank. Canoe safaris here, drifting past elephant drinking at the water’s edge, are among the most peaceful wildlife experiences we know.
