Queen Elizabeth National Park
Few parks anywhere pack in as much variety as Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most visited safari destination: open savanna, humid forest, sparkling lakes and fertile wetland within a single boundary, supporting classic big game, ten primate species including chimpanzees, and over 600 recorded bird species. The Kazinga Channel boat cruise, thick with hippo and elephant along its banks, is usually the highlight, a very different way to see wildlife after days spent on game drives.
