Praslin Island
Praslin is the Seychelles’ second largest island, though its population of around 6,500 people barely registers against the white sand beaches and forested hills that cover most of it. The Vallee de Mai, a UNESCO-listed forest at its centre, is home to the extraordinary coco de mer palm, found almost nowhere else on earth. Between the beaches and the forest, Praslin manages to feel both indulgent and wild at once.
