A Long Weekend with the Gorillas 3 days
3 days
Rwanda - A Journey into Gorilla Country
Some wildlife encounters stay with you long after you leave, and few compare with an hour spent in the forest with Rwanda’s mountain gorillas. This short 3 day escape takes you into Volcanoes National Park, where you’ll learn about the remarkable work behind their protection at the Ellen DeGeneres Campus at the Dian Fossey Foundation before setting out on a gorilla trek. After your time in the forest, return to Kigali for a final glimpse of the capital, with the option to visit its moving Genocide Memorial. There’s also time to slow down at your lodge, making this an immersive yet wonderfully unhurried introduction to Rwanda.
