King Lewanika is one of the most interesting and exciting camps in Sub Saharan Africa.
Chongwe River Camp is nestled under a complete canopy of huge winter thorn acacias, in an area where elephants are more numerous than people –Â there are no fences and the animals have complete right of way.
The name Anabezi is derived from the camp being situated on the Zambezi River and the many Ana Trees or Winter Thorns (Faidherbia albida) that surround the camp.
Thorntree River Lodge is an environmentally-conscious lodge which echoes the tradition and culture of Africa through its tented rooves and authentic African cuisine.
